Toepassing
- Airless spuitmonden voor het spuiten van vloeistoffen, meestal lak
- maar ook voor zeer viskeuze materialen zoals gelcoat enz.
- Sproeikop van staal
- Sproeier van hardmetaal
- Met airless spuitmonden wordt een spuitstraal zonder toevoeging van vernevelingslucht geproduceerd, zoals een dichtgeknepen tuinslang
- Dus alleen door de materiaaldruk en de vorm/slijping van de spuitmond
- Het eerste cijfer geeft de boring in inch aan, bijvoorbeeld 0,11"
- Het tweede getal geeft de theoretische spuithoek aan.
- Hoe hoger de viscositeit en oppervlaktespanning van de vloeistof, hoe hoger de materiaaldruk moet zijn om de spuithoek te bereiken.
